“Dreams before Dusk”
The artist James Carrigan drew inspiration from nature and raising young kids in the midst of gardens and pondscapes and many of these paintings were done in the country near Carmel Church, Virginia. “Dreams before Dusk” attempts to capture the last hints of color and little shadows or perhaps a cloud glowing. "This turning of the day is where I first found time to paint and 'get away' even though having 4 kids could prove difficult with multitasking and paying attention, art would invite me further into depth to my relationship with them. Much of the paint marks in my art also come from my daughter Claire. Hope that they give peace and enjoyment to those who look at them."
